Alan Symons - Chair of Trustees

Alan is a risk and health and safety manager in the rail industry. He first met Wayne many years ago at Slough Baptist Church and has got to know him and the work he does and supports him through prayer. He lives in Slough with his wife and two children. As one of the trustees Alan has helped in setting up the charity and the ongoing support of Wayne and the work he does in Schools and Churches.

Richard Thorogood - Treasurer

Richard is a qualified management accountant (FCMA) and worked in industry for 40 years.  He is now retired and lives with his wife in Maidenhead.  He is a member of St Peters church in Maidenhead and met Wayne through his visits there.  As Treasurer he is responsible in conjunction with the other trustees for financial matters of CCiS.

Bob Miles – Secretary

Bob is a retired science teacher, prior to being a school teacher he was an engineer in the electronics industry. He first met Wayne many years ago before he became an SU schools worker and has since worked with him on promoting linking local schools with his own church, Cippenham Baptist. Bob lives in Cippenham with his wife, Jane. As the secretary he helps to ensure the decisions of CCiS are recorded and acted upon

Pauline Scott

Pauline is a member of Dedworth Green Baptist Church in Windsor, where her husband is minister. For many years she was employed as a teaching assistant in a Berkshire primary school, and since 2006 has worked with young people at both Slough Baptist Church and DGBC. She has two grown up children, and the whole family has benefitted from Wayne’s care and friendship. Pauline aims to provide information about the work of the trust and edits the termly newsletters.

 

Peter Cranch

Peter is the pastor of Blenheim Free Church in Maidenhead, which has supported Wayne for many years. He and his wife have four children who are all in local schools. Peter previously worked as a defence analyst and still appreciates a good spreadsheet!

Grant Hallam

Grant is an IT Manager in the FMCG industry. He has known Wayne for many years through his visits to St. Mary’s Maidenhead where he attends and his interaction with his children in schools. He is married and has three girls, two are now grown up and one still at school. They all attended local schools, hence has seen and highly values Wayne’s and CCIS’ work.
