CCiS employs two full-time members of staff

  • Wayne Dixon

    Wayne has been working in schools in Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead for over 35 years. He combines up-front talking about Jesus, RE and curriculum input and ‘Hanging Around Ministries’ This involves spending time with teenagers (and staff) in school getting alongside them and listening to their joys, hopes and fears.

    Wayne is married to Joyce and they have a son, Chris. Wayne loves sport, music and following The Arsenal!

  • Beth Gomm

    Beth was previously a secondary school teacher in Nottingham and Derby. She has also worked as a Children, Youth and Families Pastor in a local church. Beth is passionate about helping children and young people encounter Jesus and experience the love of God for themselves.

Trustees

CCiS is supported by a number of trustees who oversee the work.

  • Alan Symons

    Chair of Trustees

    Alan is a risk and health and safety manager in the rail industry. He lives in Slough with his wife and two children and attends Slough Baptist Church.

  • Richard Thorogood

    Treasurer

    Richard is a qualified management accountant (FCMA) and worked in industry for 40 years. He is now retired and lives with his wife in Maidenhead. He is a member of St Peters church in Maidenhead.

  • Bob Miles

    Secretary

    Bob is a retired science teacher before which he was an engineer in the electronics industry. Bob has promoted links between local schools and his own church, Cippenham Baptist Church. Bob lives in Cippenham with his wife, Jane.

  • Peter Cranch

    Peter is the pastor of Blenheim Free Church in Maidenhead. He and his wife have four children who are all in local schools. Peter previously worked as a defence analyst and still appreciates a good spreadsheet!

  • Grant Hallam

    Grant is an IT Manager in the FMCG industry. He is married, has three girls and attends St. Mary’s Maidenhead.

  • Jenay Monds

    Jenay is a former primary school teacher and school governor. She is married with two children and attends Slough Baptist Church.

  • Janice Hopkins

    Janice leads parenting courses in her community and is active in pastoral work at Grace Church Windsor. She works with Community Bible Study in the UK and Europe, and alongside her husband in his tech business. They have two adult children.
